This joist-mounted fan has many different applications but is typically used for attic
ventilation or with ducting attached in a crawl space or attic. The fans can be used to
enhance intake air flow from a gable or soffit or just to improve cross ventilation in any
type of space. The fan will often be used with ducting to get air into hard-to-reach or
separate areas.
